Old florida soul Across the GLOBE

In the summers of 2024 and 2025, Jack packed it up and headed to Europe with a small crew, playing festivals in places like Pleutersbach, Germany, Brno in the Czech Republic, and Krílda ( wings). With the help of my friend Steve Arvey—a longtime Chicago bluesman and world traveler—I was able to make connections with several cigar box guitar festivals in Germany and Belgium that helped open the door for the trip. It was incredible to see the interest folks had in American swamp culture. What struck me most was how similar the rural communities of Europe felt to the places we visited on our Deep South Tour back home. Different languages, different landscapes—but in the end it felt like we’re all living the same way.
