Booking Policy & Performance Terms

Thank you for your interest in booking the Jack Shealy Band. We take pride in delivering a high-quality live performance and professional experience for venues, promoters, and audiences alike. The following policies outline our standard booking terms.

1. Booking Confirmation

A performance is considered confirmed only after the following are received:

• A signed performance agreement

• A 50% non-refundable deposit

• Confirmation of event details (date, time, location, production)

Remaining balance is due on the day of performance prior to showtime unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Deposits secure the date and compensate the band for holding that date on the tour calendar.

2. Performance Fee

The Jack Shealy Band maintains a set performance rate for most venues and events.

Rates may vary depending on:

• Distance and travel logistics

• Lodging requirements

• Festival or ticketed event structure

• Production / backline availability

• Private event requirements

• Multi-night bookings

Custom offers are welcome and will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.

3. Technical Requirements

The band will provide a stage plot and input list upon request or with booking confirmation.

Unless otherwise arranged, the promoter/venue agrees to provide:

• Professional PA system suitable for the room

• Qualified sound engineer

• Adequate stage space

• Power access

• Basic lighting (where applicable)

Backline requirements may be negotiated depending on event logistics.

4. Hospitality

For performances requiring extended travel, the following hospitality is appreciated:

• Drinking water on stage

• Basic meal or meal buyout for band members

• Secure area for equipment and personal belongings

For events more than 150 miles from the band’s home base, lodging accommodations may be requested.

5. Merchandising

The Jack Shealy Band travels with official merchandise and appreciates the opportunity to sell it at performances.

• A small table or space near the stage or entrance is appreciated.

• The band retains 100% of merchandise sales unless otherwise agreed.

6. Promotion

The promoter/venue agrees to assist with promotion of the event through:

• Social media

• Website listings

• Local advertising where applicable

The band will provide marketing assets, photos, logos, and promotional materials to support event promotion.

7. Cancellation Policy

If an event is cancelled:

• Deposits are non-refundable unless cancellation occurs due to extreme circumstances (natural disaster, government closure, etc.).

• If cancellation occurs within 14 days of the event, the full performance fee may be due.

The band will make reasonable efforts to reschedule if possible.

8. Weather & Outdoor Events

For outdoor events, the promoter must provide:

• Adequate weather protection for performers and equipment

• Covered stage area

The band reserves the right to pause or stop performance if conditions become unsafe.

9. Liability Insurance

The band can provide General Liability Insurance (COI) if required by the venue. Advance notice may be required.

10. Professional Conduct

The Jack Shealy Band is committed to professionalism, punctuality, and delivering an authentic live music experience rooted in the traditions of Southern rock and American roots music.
